Immediately before and during events we run a variety of online and face-to-face educational and skills sessions. In addition, during events we run daily simulation sessions to allow team members to hone their skills, and to develop new ones. If you do choose to come and work with us during an event, you will be provided with full information about these sessions.
Additionally, we are enthusiastic about students being part of our team. We have an elective programme for medical students that will allow the experience of caring for patients at the trackside and in the Emergency Department. We would like to invite any interested Medical Students to become part of our team delivering world class Pre-hospital care for motorcycle road racers and cycling events on the Isle of Man.
We would also invite enquiries from paramedical and nursing students to discuss how to be involved. There are opportunities to participate in simulation, case reviews, quality improvement and research. If you would be interested please contact Jonathan using the link below.
